Care Philosophy
Dr. Chiaramida has served in numerous administrative and governance capacities as well as continuously maintaining an active clinical practice emphasizing acute coronary care, non-invasive imaging including echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging, and the management of chronic refractory angina pectoris. He currently serves as Medical Director of the Coronary Care Unit at the Medical University of South Carolina.

Dr. Chiaramida’s research interests include Computer Modeling of the Heart and Circulation, Integrated Cardiac Imaging and Refractory Angina Pectoris. He holds a patent for a Computer Model of the Heart with the University of Rhode Island. *
